The Journey
I grew up on a small farm and when I was very young we plowed the fields with an enormous horse. My grandfather worked the plow and my job (in my mind) was to steer the horse. After a few rows I'd get tired abd my grandfather would lift me off and tell me that he would have to try and manage on his own. Those were the proudest moments in my life. The imagery reveals my interest in order and chaosand the hawk is something that has crept into my work in the recent years. I use hawks as a metaphore for the human condition.
